Do you know what the word "difference" means in math? It means now many more or less one number is than another number. Some people would say it is the answer when you subtract. We use our number grid to find the difference by counting up or down by 10's and then across by 1's. So the difference between 35 and 57 is two groups of ten (20), and 2 ones (2), for a total of 22.
Stetler passed off Mighty Math Level 1C. Congratulations to him! Samantha also got 100% on her drill today for the first time on 2C. We might have a race between these two to see who finishes 2A first. All of you keep studying so you can get a level passed off as soon as possible. We had a total of 6 students complete their drill today so we are getting better!
In language we learned about subjects of sentences. The subject tells who or what the sentence is about. Each sentence has a subject.
We are working hard on keyboarding in computers. Writing will be easier when we can type what we would like to say to others.
