Today we had a visitor who taught us what we should be doing to show we are a "working class." Mrs. Bell, a new teacher in our district, talked about how our eyes, ears, voice, and body look when we are working. Students helped lists ways we show we are listening, as well as things we might be doing that would show we are NOT working. We will try to put these good listening skills into practice the next few days. Mrs. Bell also said that Mrs. Labrum has a surprise for us, but we will need to wait for a few days to see what it is!
In the computer lab we worked on a new spelling game. We didn't get much time to play it because it took us a long time to log in. Those who has internet at home can go to spellingcity.com, click on STUDENT, search for teacher's name (labrum) and find the spelling list for this week. There are games available to help make learning these words fun.
Samanthan and Carlie both got 100% on Mighty Math today! Way to go!
Don't forget about the spelling test tomorrow. We will also have a reading test in a way that you have never taken before, so be prepared! It will be lots of fun!
