Tuesday

Today we have learned a easier way to times . We have done a report on what we do for Easter . At PE we went walking . We read a story called Trapped by the Ice . It is about the southpole . The most important character in the story is Shackleton, who wanted to cross the South Pole. Their boat got trapped in the ice. They spent many months trying to get to safety. We have not yet finished the story.

Today we did a leprechaun math and we had to decide if we had a wish if we would have pennies and add on every day or if we would have $100 every day and we decided we needed to do pennies. (Mrs. Labrum's note: Would we be wise to take $100 a day for 30 days or start with 1 penny and double the amount we have every day.) We had to figure how many marshmellows where in Lucky Charms and we added up to 158 clovers and 25 rainbows there were more. We wrote a leprechaun poem saying what we would wish for if we had some wishes. We made a poem if a leprechaun was bashful about something. Mrs.Labrum read us some fairy tales about the three little pigs and the big bad wolf.
We leared more about reading and made some notes that will help us.

A New Start

We are at the beginning of the last quarter of this school year. Mrs. Labrum thought we would try something different for some of our writing. Each day the leader of our class will write a short description of some of the things we did in class. We hope you enjoy reading about what we are learning. Please send us a message when you visit our classroom blog.
